Corporate Reservations Are Becoming Autonomous

Over the past month, we've introduced a new set of capabilities that significantly expands what Una, our Digital Employee, can complete inside PMS.
The latest release focuses on one of the most operationally demanding areas of hotel operations: corporate reservations.
Unlike standard leisure bookings, corporate reservations involve negotiated company rates, multiple guests, different payment rules, guarantee types, and often several interconnected reservations. While many hospitality platforms can automate guest communication, completing the operational workflow behind these bookings has traditionally remained a manual task.
With this release, Una now automates a much larger portion of that process while continuing to follow each property's existing business rules and reservation logic inside PMS.
The update includes support for corporate reservations, multi-room bookings, group payments, automatic payment handling based on guarantee types, automatic cancellation of unpaid reservations, and reservations that begin over the phone or by email.
The release also arrives alongside encouraging feedback from hotels already running Una in live operations.
Customer Validation From Live Operations
One of the strongest indicators that automation is creating real operational value is feedback from the teams using it every day.
After several weeks of running Una in production, Alexander Herold, Director at Avaneo Hotels, shared his experience with the platform.
While his feedback highlighted Una's growing operational capabilities, one comment stood out in particular. Following the introduction of the new corporate booking workflow, one of Avaneo's own corporate clients reported such a positive booking experience that they decided to make future reservations exclusively through Una's booking widget.

For us, this represents an important milestone.
Success is not measured by the number of conversations an AI can handle. It is measured by whether guests choose to return to it for future bookings. When a corporate traveler voluntarily adopts a Digital Employee as their preferred booking channel, it demonstrates that automation is delivering value not only for hotel operations but also for the guest experience.
Customer feedback has always been one of the main drivers of Una's development.
Many of the operational improvements we've introduced over the past few months originated from real-world hotel workflows and conversations with our customers. As hotels continue to rely on Una for increasingly complex operational tasks, we're expanding what she can complete independently while continuing to respect each property's existing business rules.
The latest release is another important step in that direction.
What's Included in This Release
This month's update introduces several new operational workflows inside Apaleo, including:
- Corporate reservations using company codes or company names
- Multi-room reservations with individual guest details
- Automatic payment handling based on Apaleo guarantee types
- Automatic cancellation of unpaid reservations
- Group payments using a single payment method
- Voice and email reservations with automatic reservation creation
Together, these capabilities allow Una to complete increasingly complex reservation workflows while respecting each property's existing operational logic.
Looking Ahead
This release is another step toward our long-term vision of Digital Employees that don't simply assist hotel teams but complete meaningful operational work independently.
Every new workflow expands what hotels can automate without changing the way they already operate. Rather than replacing existing processes, Una follows each property's established business rules inside Apaleo and executes them consistently across every guest interaction.
We're continuing to work closely with hotel partners to identify the next operational workflows that can be automated, and many of the capabilities released this month originated directly from customer feedback.
As more hotels move beyond conversational AI and begin automating complete operational processes, we believe Digital Employees will become an increasingly important part of everyday hospitality operations.
